Town House is the new home of Cook & Butler, in a 17th-century inn on Berkhamsted High Street, once known as The Five Bells. Oak beams, old floors and well-worn details run through the house, opening into a light-filled orangery where the seasons seem to follow you in. We fill the rooms with things we love to live with: timeworn furniture, old paintings, useful objects, books, linens and flowers gathered with the season. Some things are old, some are new, and some simply caught our eye. Upstairs, our workshop room is made for making, learning and gathering, with a changing programme of workshops and gatherings throughout the year.
